Hello! We are so excited to welcome you to our brand new and improved blog :) Just in time our busiest season, which is right around the corner, so you will be seeing lots of fun posts very soon. If you are new to our blog...we are Matt and Liz! We are a husband and wife photography team in New Hampshire, although we travel all over New England...or the world for that matter. We specialize in photographing people. Weddings and engagements, kids and families, and any other interesting events that come our way! This blog is a great way for you to get to know us. Not only are we posting our professional work, but you'll see a bit of our lives through photos of each other, family and friends, travels, and other neat things. Jessica & Michael: the wedding August 24, 2008     weddings

We were so happy yesterday to be a part of Jessica and Michael’s wedding! Not only was it a unique and personal wedding, full of fun details...there was also zero rain :) They got married at Bretton Woods, with the ceremony on top of the mountain. With great views and beautiful skies, it was a perfect spot! And it was fun to see everyone come up on the ski lifts! Enjoy guys!




Ode to Oktoberfest!



If a 99 year old grandmother can get on the ski lift...anyone can!!



Like we said, just an absolutely perfect day...








Everyone turned out to see the bride and groom come off the ski lift!





With a dinner of lobster, clam chowder and other New England good eats...we could think of no better ring shot!













Ashley & Alex: the wedding! August 17, 2008     weddings

The rain was making everyone nervous yesterday afternoon in Jackson, NH...but of course, it cleared up and turned into a beautiful evening for a wedding! Ashley and Alex had their outdoor ceremony on the golf course and we had plenty of time for photos outside! With just close family and friends at the wedding, everything was very intimate and fun. We wish you the best guys!

We were able to make a trip to some nearby waterfalls...and they were rushing due to the earlier rain!

Kristin & Matt: the wedding! August 16, 2008     weddings

Yesterday we were in Meredith, NH, enjoying a beautiful day on the lakes at Church Landing! We keep on dodging the forecasted rain somehow and we are definitely not complaining :) Kristin and Matt are such a fun couple...their wedding was full of laughs, fun, and plenty of family and friends. Enjoy the pics and have an amazing time in Mexico!

We had so much time with these two to take some fun photos...they were so relaxed and we had a great time!

Laura & John: the wedding! August 10, 2008     weddings

Our triple wedding weekend ends with Laura and John! What an amazing couple! They were such a joy to be around today...so happy, so in love with each other, and everyone could see they were meant to be together. They planned their wedding to fit them...not only did we do a First Look, but they had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, some fun dancing, and an awesome dessert reception (complete with cake, ice cream sundaes, chocolate covered strawberries, and other sweets)! We hope you have an amazing honeymoon and enjoy the photos...


Laura and John had everything at the Commander's Mansion in Watertown, MA...really neat old building with lots of cool rooms!




Their First Look was great! Then we were off to spend some time around the Charles River, since they had spent lots of dating time walking and hanging out around there :)






As their ceremony time rolled around, so did some crazy clouds! Some big rain drops started to fall just as they were announced husband and wife...



...we thought this was a fun shot of the wedding party being announced...

Laura and John left the reception through some thick bubbles :)


Off to their surprise honeymoon...have a great time and we can't wait to hear about it!


Oh yah...the ring shot! The mansion offered lots of cool, old textures and surfaces...the wood floor was particularly unique!
